28 weeks!!

Geesh!! What a week it was and boy am I glad it is over!! It all started with Evan not feeling good last Sunday and by Thursday I made an emergency trip to the pediatrician with Landon. He had a fever of 105.6!!!! I didn't even know fevers could get that high!!!!! Come to find out both boys ended up with hand, foot, mouth disease. It sounds really gross but all it really is(or was for us) is a really high fever and vomitting..... the sucky part is that it lasts anywhere from 5-10 days!!! Evan had it for 6 days and Landon for 6 as well.... BUT we are finally over this nastiness so we can go outside now!!! My guess is Evan got it at school (uuughhhh... DON'T send your kids to school with a fever people!!) and then he passed it right along to Landon!!!With that said, we are going to be outside EVERY day this week!! Our pool opened up this weekend so we are heading there shortly before it gets too hot to be outside!
Little Miss Livy has been very active and Evan actually saw her try to knock my cell phone off of stomach yesterday! He got a "kick" out of that... hehe!!
If my calculations are right I have gained 0.5 pounds this week which should total one pound since my last appointment two weeks ago... but we shall see on Friday since my appointments are every two weeks now!
I never got a letter about my glucose test so no news is good news!! No diabetes for me thank goodness!!!
Little Livy is almost 3 pounds now and is roughly 15 inches long! She can open and close her eyes now and can possibly see light through my tummy!! It is so hard to believe I am right at 7 months pregnant!!
With June and July both being busy months for us, that leaves us with August and SHE will be here sometime in August!!!
Here are a few weekly pics..... they were both taken at 28 weeks 0 days!!
The one that has Landon in it is just too cute... He saw me taking the picture and said, "I'll find Ivia!" That's how he says her name!! I added a front view this week only because I am getting to the point where I don't know if it is possible for my stomach to grow outward anymore and I still have possibly 12 weeks left!! Oh gosh....... I think I can make it!!!

Have a great week everyone!!

Craving of the week!!

Well our house has been infected this week!! There hasn't been much eating going on around here other than saltines, pedialyte, gatorade, the occasional goldfish, and mashed potatoes. We have been cooped up in this house all week literally not even seeing the sunshine other than my daily trip to the mailbox. To make a long story short I was actually worried that I wouldn't be able to post my craving of the week because of the sicknesses going on.. (weird I know!)
That was until today.... Both of the boys were well enough to go to the movies and I was so antsy that they probably could have been throwing up and I still may have attempted it....So a little after 1 we ventured out to the movies to watch Kung Fu Panda 2... I didn't realize just how HUNGRY I was until we got there.... which is why you should NEVER go to the movies hungry..
Not only did we spend 20.00 to get ino the movie but we also spent 31.00 on FOOD!!!! Crazy I know... This is what we got!!!
1- medium popcorn
2-large diet coke
3-nachos
4- 2 kids meals ( I NEVER get kids meals but the boys had to have seperate drinks because of their colds so I didn't really have a choice & I was out of juice boxes at home so I couldn't bring any)

All of this leads me to hesitantly tell you how much of a PIG I was today. I didn't eat any breakfast because, well I never do and because my throat is a little sore and I just didn't feel up to it this morning... so by the 2:15 movie my belly and little baby were talking to me...
As soon as the guy handed over the nachos I could feel myself attacking them. Then came the popcorn and I attacked that too... and then the diet coke.... the cashier probably thought I was going to attack him next.
I couldn't get to our theatre fast enough... My mouth was watering and all I could think about was how quick I was going to destroy the food....
Once we got into our seats and got the boys comfy I handed Aaron the nachos as I held tightly onto the popcorn.... Once he got done eating his share of the nachos he gave them to me and I poured a little popcorn in the side dish and gave him the bag of popcorn..... (Long story.. I know) but this is where the craving comes in at...
It may sound gross to most of you and trust me, I even caught myself going, "Ashley, what in the hell are you doing??" but when I tell you that dipping little pieces of the popcorn into the cheese dip from the nachos is DELICIOUS I mean every word of it!! OMG!! It was just heavenly. I pretty much did everything to get every ounce of cheese out of the dish except stick my tongue in it (and I even thought about doing that..)
It may have tasted good because my body was going into food shock or it just may have been that dang on good!! Once my little side of popcorn was gone I stole half of Landon's popcorn out of his kid's meal without his knowing... (Evan's too.. Oops!!)
So craving of the week goes to the delicious YET expensive popcorn, nachos, and cheese at the Grand 18 Theatre in Winston Salem, NC!!

On a side note, yesterday when we were all laying in bed, little Miss Olivia decided to curl up into a perfect little ball in my belly and I was able to snap a quick picture of it before she squirmed to the left side of my belly!! I was 27 weeks and 3 days yesterday!!Here it is!!!

Until next week, Happy Cravings everyone!!

27 weeks!!!

Well today puts us at 27 weeks and 2 days along!!! In freaking out terms, we have 89 days left...... this week has been pretty crappy... it started out with Evan getting a little bug and it has now turned into both of my boys with the flu. Landon was up all night last night getting sick and since this is his first time throwing up it freaked him(and me) out.  Fingers crossed that this thing stays away from me because I just can't afford to get sick... and I think I deserve one pregnancy without throwing up at all!!!!
Little Miss is very active and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with why I have so much energy lately but I will take it. I never had energy with the boys and now I can't sit still...... until 8:00 at night when I feel like I've been hit by a bus..
I have gotten a lot of things accomplished this week... even in the midst of the outbreak at my house...
1- I booked my maternity pictures for July 11th... I will be 34 weeks then.. I didn't want to wait longer than that since Evan and Landon were both born early... I'm really excited and can't wait to see what they will look like... or what my belly will look like then... I also went ahead and booked little Miss Olivia's newborn photo shoot... obviously I don't know when yet but it made it seem like she will be here so soon since I already booked it!!!! Yah!!
2- I booked my 3d/4d ultrasound for June 17th... I have never had one of these and since this is it for us, we figured we better do it this time or we may look back on this years later and say, " I wish we would have done that ultrasound!!" I wanted to do the ultrasound the next Friday because my mom will be in town but the sonographer will be on vacation that week.... I will be almost 31 weeks then...
3- my baby shower is going to be on June 26th.... I am so excited because this time I will be covered in pinks, purples, greens, and all kinds of other girly colors.... not BLUE!!!! I had so much fun registering so I can only imagine how I'm going to feel to see all of the girly goodies!!! Yah!!!

In Livy news, I have gained 0.5 pounds this week... I have been walking like crazy... since it has been so pretty outside and I take the boys to the park almost daily. They both love feeding the ducks so we take bread down to feed them when we go walking... It's on these little walks that I realize just how lucky I am to have TWO healthy, perfect, sweet little boys, a precious little girl growing in my belly, and an amazing husband who would do anything for his family!!! I truly am blessed!!!

Here are a few pictures from this week!! Both pictures were taken at 27 weeks 0 days!!

Our little girl is growing!!!

Craving of the week!!

So this week I have really been eating one thing..... Literally, I could go without breakfast, lunch, and dinner just to be able to munch on this all day long. I have noticed a pattern in my cravings or must haves. They have all pretty much been snacks. Not foods, just snacks. Granted I'm sure my breath smells quite lovely after eating these all week long but who cares right???? After all, if Livy wants it, she gets it.
Thankfully I'm not the only one in the house that enjoys this snack so I don't feel nearly as bad when I go to the store more than once a week to stock up on more....and it also doesn't make me realize just how much I'm consuming since Aaron, Evan, and Landon eat it too..... that could be a bad thing too..... oops!!!
So this week the craving of the week award goes to the delicious Baked Ruffles WITH Dean's French Onion dip. You can't have one without the other.... You have to enjoy them together!!!
Yummo!!!!

26 week doctor appointment.... not what I wanted to hear!!!

Well oh well.... I knew today would be a long day since I had my 26 week appointment along with my glucola appointment scheduled at 1:00.... I have been preparing myself for this day all week because this meant I couldn't eat anything before my appointment but more importantly I couldn't have my daily dose of decaff Dunkin Donuts coffee with 4 splendas and a big splash or two of my hazelnut creamer.... The food I can go without... but my coffee... Well that is another story.. I live for my coffee in the mornings.. I actually go to bed happy at night because I know that my coffee will be waiting patiently for me in the morning... thanks to my amazing hubby!!!(His coffee tastes better than mine for some reason...)

So this is how today went....
1~ woke up at 7:30 thanks to my two sweet little boys wanting to watch Little Einsteins in mommy's bed.
2~fed boys blueberry waffles and just starred into my empty coffee pot..
3~folded three loads of laundry
4~vacummed the house...
5~cleaned the playroom (this is an every day task)
6~got ready for my doctor's appointment

Sounds normal so far right????

1:00- I got to the doctor's office and drank my lovely glucola drink.... gag me... I then had my finger pricked for my iron levels... (I'm assuming that was normal.. fingers crossed!)

My blood pressure was GREAT- 124/73
Livy's heartrate was in the 154 range
I gained 3 pounds in 5 weeks... not too bad... This puts me right at 13 pounds... I'm not too happy about that considering Olivia weighs TWO pounds..... but I'm trying to calm down....

Still sounds pretty good right?????

Well that is until I tell you that the doctor came in and felt my tummy and after squishing my child and my stomach to death he informed me that she is feet first.... in medical terms... she is breech...
I freaked out... for several reasons....
1- Evan and Landon were NEVER breech so this is NEW to me.
2- If she doesn't turn around on her own the doctor's will try to turn her which equals PAIN for me...
3- If that doesn't work I will need a c-section... Ummm... how about NO!!!! I don't want a c-section..
No offense to any of you that have had a c-section but I do NOT want one.. I love being able to have the experience of birthing my child.. I love having the immediate bonding time with her... I DON'T want a scar..... I DON'T want the extra recovery time... because with two toddlers that pretty much isn't possible.... I DON'T want my insides opened up.... I could go on and on and on..... but I guess you get the point.... Let's just say that isn't what I wanted to hear today....

SO what does any STARVING pregnant gal do that just got bad news.... She drives to Sonic and gets a Route 44 cherry slushie... and against her better judgement she also gets a LARGE order of tater tots with the intention of eating only a few... but she eats them all.... which led me to freak out even more about my weight gain.... which must be why I pretty much ate lettuce for dinner!!

Please pray that little Miss Olivia decides to turn her little self around on her own. I am really freaking out about this and would love to hear at my next appointment that she is head DOWN!!

My next appointment is in TWO weeks... I have reached that point in my pregancy where I go every TWO weeks now.. No more once a month for me... and before I know it, I will be going every week and them BOOM... she will be here...

To lightn the mood.... here is a yummy (sarcasm) picture of my tasty, flat, sugared up, hawiian punch that I had to drink in 5 minutes today.....

26 weeks!!!

Today puts us at 26 weeks pregnant!! This means we are 2/3 of the way done to meeting and spoiling our sweet little girl. Something that really struck me today was my little Lillypie Pregnancy ticker that I have on my blogger page. I just happened to glance over at it and I had to do a double take. Of course I was prepared for it to say 26 weeks 0 days pregnant..... but what I wasn't prepared to see was that we have 98 days left of this pregnancy. We are officially in the double digits now and I can't believe it. How does that happen?!?!
Our next couple of months are filled with things to do so I know it is just going to keep on flying by.
Little Olivia has been a busy girl this past week. She continues to move all of the time.. Her little kicks have now turned into big, long stretches across my stomach. Evan felt her move for the first time yeterday and it was so cute. He jumped up after he felt her move and he said, "Mommy, I think she just wiggled in your tummy." That is a memory that I will never forget. He is such a sweet little (big) boy.
We are going full force at potty training Landon and today marks Day four. He is doing amazing... Of course he has accidents here and there but overall I am so happy with how good he is doing. He hasn't worn a diaper since Thursday besides at bedtime.... He loves his big boy underwear and he has even been pooping on the potty.... This means that I will actually have a little break from changing diapers.. I have been changing diapers consecutivaly for over 4 years since Evan was still in diapers when Landon was born.... YES! A three month break from poop!!!!
The weight gain this week has been 0 pounds!!! I have my 26 week appointment on Thursday and this is also my glucola test appointment... Yippee.... NOT!!
I believe that after this appointment I will start going every two weeks... This means that we are getting close....
I feel great.. I have had tons of energy the past couple of weeks.. I try to take the boys to the park in our neighborhood every day so I can walk the track and then we usually go for walks at night when Aaron gets home. I actually feel like I have more energy pregnant than I did before I was pregnant.... I'm sure that will change when little miss gets here and I am walking around like a zombie from getting NO sleep.... Until then I am going to take advantage of this energy boost that I have and enjoy it!!
Here are a few pics from this week along with what our little girl is up to this week!!
Have a great week everyone!!

How your baby's growing:
The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

Both of these pictures were taken today at 26 weeks 0 days!!!

Craving of the week!!

Yum, yum, yum!!!! This week my craving has just gone to another level!! At the beginning of the week all I wanted was the red seedless grapes from Harris Teeter!! We have gone through THREE bags of them this week if that tells you something...... so I just knew I would be blogging about those delicious grapes but nope... I found something even better!!! On Thursday Evan had t-ball practice and since Aaron is the assistant coach that left me to tend to my crazy little toddler....Hmmmmm... how can I keep him quiet and in one place for an hour?????? FOOD!!! So we ventured up to the consession stand with Daddy's wallet to see what we could find!!! After little debate we ended up with a red gatorade for Landon, one for Evan, some nachos and cheese for Landon and Livy, and some new skittles called blenders.... Well, welll,well.... Let me just tell you that these "blenders" are more than addicting...... In just three days (today included) we have used these blenders as rewards for potty training, distractions at tball practice, at a tball game, dessert, and needless to say we have gone through two .89 cent bags and I bought a value size bag at Target yesterday!! They are to die for!! I can't even tell you how good they are... so if you like skittles or even think that you may like skittles you must try the new blenders skittles!!!
Happy Cravings everyone!!!!

Baby Livy gets the hiccups!!

Oh how precious was my tummy two nights ago!!! As I got ready to lay down in bed I noticed that my tummy kept jumping in a pattern every couple of seconds... until that point I hadn't felt Miss Livy with the hiccups. I knew she had them because I saw her having them in our ultrasound but this time I could actually feel them!! It still amazes me(even after having two babies) For some reason it still feels brand new. I think this is Gods way of allowng us to have a brand new love for another child. He wants us to experience each child as if it were our first and I am so thankful for that.
She still bounces around like crazy... I think she may just be high maintence like her mommy.... Oops!! Looks like her daddy may be in some trouble!!
Sorry this post isn't too interesting but I wanted to write it down before I forgot the date... and we are still without a computer so I'm not even sure this will post because I'm doing it from my phone!!
So here is another milestone in the baby book- May 11, 2011
The picture is of me laying down when Miss Livy was having her hiccups!!!
I'm going to miss being pregnant when this is all over (and I NEVER thought I would say that because of my first two pregnancies) but this pregnancy has been so great that I don't want to let it go.....14 weeks left!!

Craving(s) of the weeks!!!

Here are my cravings from 23 and 24 weeks... I am still figuring out what I LOVE this week... Hopefully it will be fruit since my body is still adjusting to eating healthy again!!!

23 week craving!!

Oh my goodness I could NOT get enough of this 2 weeks ago.. I don't know why but I have been LOVING salty foods and even spicy foods. I normally can't stand spicy foods because I don't like hot stuff.. I am normally the wuss who asks the waiter at a Mexican resturant for some mild sauce... but not this week.... This particular week I have been loving these..... I know they aren't the best thing in the world for you so I have learned "moderation" is the key.... I just can't go to the pantry every 10 minutes to get more of them!!! YUMMY!!!

Tostitos with Medium salsa... Not the usual mild sauce but the MEDIUM!!!! and YES it does have a kick to it!!!

24 week craving!!

Now what kind of pregnant woman would I be if I didn't crave something bad while on vacation?!?!?!? I had been eyeballing these at a baseball game that Aaron and I had gone to the week prior BUT I contained myself and didn't get one because I knew that I would get one or two or three or four while at Disney World.... and oh was it delicious and well worth the wait!! The sweetness along with the crunchiness just melted in my mouth and my oh my I could have literally eaten 5 of these things BUT I didn't... I just had 2.... BUT I was nice and shared with the hubby and the boys.....
Yes... you probably guessed it.... The famous Funnel Cakes at Sleepy Hollow.... I knew my direct path to that stand inside of Magic Kingdom... If you ever go.... you MUST get atleast one funnel cake..... They are THAT good....

Hopefully this weeks' craving will be a little better for me.... We shall see!! Happy Cravings everyone!!

A lot to post!! 23, 24, & 25 weeks!!!

Wow!! So much to update on!! To start with, my toddler spilled a full cup of water on our family computer so I have not had access to the computer so get ready.. This is a LONG post!!

23 week update!!

I gained a little over half a pound this week but felt like my stomach hit a stretch growth.... I still have been blessed with no stretch marks and hope that I don't get them!!
Little Miss tumbles all the time and seems to be the most active around 11 pm or 5 am.... (The two times that I wish she would just sleep!!!)

Here are a few pics from week 23... (I didn't take a belly shot because I had a dress on so I found a bikini shot... This will be the only bathing suit shot I am sure!!)

Both of these were taken at 23 weeks 0 days!!!

24 week update!!

This week I gained .25 of a pound... I was "trying" to eat extra good because I knew that the next week started a 10 day vacation that I knew I would "splurge" on some!! I seemed to have tons of energy this week.. Maybe it was because I was so happy to be going on vacation that my energy just kept increasing!!
Olivia wasn't all that active this week. She still moved around the usual times but didn't seem to move too much....
Here are a few pics from 24 weeks!!

Both of these pictures were taken at 24 weeks 0 days!!

25 weeks!!!

So here we are today... at the 25 week mark.. It is FLYING by!! I can't believe we are almost 2/3 of the way done and that our Little Miss could be here in less than 3 months... Wow!!! I have to be honest and say that I did NOT want to get on the scale after coming home from vacation because I was scared to death of what the number would say.. Not because I ate "bad" on vacation but because I simply ate different than I normally do... I had the usual veggie burgers at Disney with no cheese and side salads instead of fries BUT I did manage to drink WAY too much soda which I never do anymore AND I did induldge in some sweets that I normally stay away from... such as slushies, funnel cakes, and ice-cream.... However, the scale is still being really nice to me... It must have been all of the walking that I did along with all the sweat that continuosly kept dripping off of me... I gained ONE pound on vacation..... Thank goodness!!! My stomach has gotten bigger though.. I can now see my belly button clear as day through my shirts... I don't have an outie but because my stomach is poking out more, my belly button seems to be a bullseye!!!
Livy didn't like the plane ride or maybe she did.. All I know is that the whole 1 hour 55 minute flight she rolled and tumbled and kicked and punched..... It looked like there was an alien in my belly....
I pee ALL the time now.. and to think that I actually thought i peed alot 2 months ago... Ha!! NOPE!! Here are a few pics from this week so you can see how Little Miss is growing!!!

Both of these pictures were taken at 25 weeks 0 days!!!
